13. Dave and his son came down from Canada for a couple days of fishing. They were able to catch several Goliath Groupers up to 300 lbs. This is one of the Gag Groupers we caught while fishing on a wreck near Marathon.
14. Here’s Captain Rich holding a nice Gag Grouper caught while fishing an inshore wreck near Marathon, FL. These fish can be found year round here in the Florida Keys. However, they must be released from January 1 – May 1.
15. This smaller Gag Grouper was caught on 10 lb. light tackle spinning gear on an inshore wreck near Marathon. We were actually trying to catch Mangrove Snapper and this guy ate his live shrimp.
16. One of our regular customers is the chef and owner of Le Bouchon restaurant in Coconut Grove. He and his wife fish with us every Thanksgiving morning so they can have their own traditional fresh fish Thanksgiving meal. Here’s a nice Red Grouper he baked whole with his secret blend of spices.
