Fishing Charter Payment & Booking Information
Payment Details
- Rates are per boat, not per person.
This includes all required fishing licenses, top-quality fishing equipment, bait, and everything needed to catch fish.
- Deposit: A $200 deposit per day is required at the time of booking.
- For multiple boat charters, a $200 deposit per boat, per day is required.
- At the time of booking your credit card will be charged for the deposit amount. The remaining balance is due on the day of your charter. Balances can be paid with Cash, Credit Card, Check, Venmo, and Zelle.

- Mate’s Tip: Please tip your mate in cash 20% of the trip cost is standard.
Trip Options & Start Times
We offer 4, 6, and 8-hour fishing charters in these middle Florida Keys areas:
- Marathon
- Long Key
- Duck Key
- Big Pine Key
- Bahia Honda
- Everglades National Park
We also run sunset and evening trips during Tarpon season.
Start Times:
- Morning trips: Usually 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM
- Afternoon trips: Usually 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Evening Tarpon trips: Usually 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Note: Trip times may change depending on the season, tides, or weather. Your captain will confirm your exact departure time 1–2 days before your trip to ensure the best fishing conditions.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
- No-Show Policy: Failure to show for a scheduled charter will require full payment.
- The captain reserves the entire day for your trip and turns away other bookings.
- Weather Cancellations:Only the captain can cancel due to weather.
- If weather forces a cancellation, your deposit will be refunded or applied to a future date.
- Non-Weather Changes:
- Having too much to drink the night before is not a valid reason for cancellation.
- With proper notice, the captain may adjust your departure time if needed.

Captain Rich Smith comes from a proud military family. As a thank-you, all active duty and retired military personnel receive discounted rates.
