1/2 Day 4 hour trips are our most common fishing charters we offer in the Florida Keys area of Marathon.  They are great for family fun trips, patch reef fishing, and anglers just wanting to get out there and catch some fish and not take up the entire day.  Usually, the run to the fishing spots are just 5-15 minutes from the dock so you won’t loose anytime catching fish.

Types of Fishing

What Is Provided

We provide all fishing licenses, live bait, lures or flies, fishing tackle, cooler with ice for your drinks, and anything else needed to catch fish.

What You Need To Bring

Your own food and drinks, hat, polarized sunglasses, sun tan lotion, rain gear if needed, camera, and anything else you would like to bring.  Please do not bring your own cooler because most likely there will not be enough room for it on the boat.  If it’s a small soft cooler most of the time it can be stored in one of the hatches.  If you are planning on keeping a few fish for dinner please bring bags or some way to transport it home with you.

Policy On Keeping Fish To Eat

If you would like to keep a few fish to eat that is not a problem.  We would be happy to clean them for you free of charge.  We commonly keep Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Yellowtail Snappers, Pompano, Trout, Spanish Mackerels, and Grouper when in season.

Catch & Release

Even though we love to eat fish and keep a few for dinner every so often we do try to promote Catch & Release when possible.  We think it’s great to keep just what you need for dinner or two.  So if you are wanting to “Limit Out” on everything you catch and fill the cooler you might want to find another operation.  The species that are always considered Catch & Release with us are Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, Permit, Goliath Grouper, and Sharks.  These are all protected species here in the State of Florida and should be released so they can be enjoyed for future generations.
